My version on the classic Italian dessert. I added a few drops of beetroot juice into a mixture of cream and milk just enough to make it pink. Panna cotta is very good thing to experiment with, you can add a variety of flavors in it.
Pink Panna Cotta recipe
- 100ml milk
- 50ml 30% cream
- 20g sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon agar agar
- Few drops of fresh beetroot juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 30% cream for whipping
- Blueberries and strawberries for decoration
Mix milk, cream, sugar and agar-agar and bring to the boil. Cool the mixture to body temperature, add the vanilla essence and beetroot juice. Pour into forms and leave to cool for several hours (overnight). When panna cotta becomes “jelly”, beat cream to decorate a dessert and add berries. Super easy!
