The chia seeds dessert is the most simple thing I’ve ever cooked in my life. And the most important it’s tasty too. You can hardly taste chia seeds but you will definitely get pleasure from delightful combination of almonds and maple syrup. The main thing is to mix chia seeds and almond milk in the right proportion because chia soaks up liquid a lot, and in case you put not enough almond milk the pudding will be too hard, however we need it to be nice and creamy. By the way if you never had a deal with chia before I recommend to watch it. It’s very interesting how almond milk starts to coat every seed making jelly-like covering. Pure magic.
Chia seeds dessert recipe
- ½ cup chia seeds
- 2 cups of almond milk
- maple syrup as much as you like (I put about 5 table spoons)
Mix everything and put into fridge for 1-2 hour (or overnight). The dessert is ready to eat!
